Bridge is far more than just a card game – it is a strategic mind sport that enhances logical thinking, planning, focus, and teamwork. Playing bridge helps children learn to make independent decisions, anticipate opponents’ moves, and communicate effectively, building vital skills that are useful in all areas of life. At its core, bridge is also a fantastic family game, allowing parents and children to spend quality time together, strengthen relationships, and share memorable experiences.
To inspire a new generation of players, Latvia actively promotes Le Petit Bridge. Specially designed for children from the age of 6, this program introduces the basic principles of the game in a simplified, engaging format.
During EuroBridge 2026 at the Riga International Exhibition Centre (Ķīpsala), on July 4, 5, 11 and 12, visitors of all ages will have the opportunity to discover Le Petit Bridge through interactive activities and learn the fundamentals of the game firsthand.
The EuroBridge2026 is organized in cooperation with the European Bridge League and the Latvian Bridge Federation, with support from the Ministry of Education and Science of Latvia, the Riga City Council, RTU (Riga Technical University), Agni, Akvedukts, Flora Bakery, Latvijas Gāze, OlyBet, Skrīveru Saldumi, Tērvete Food, and European Hit Radio.
